Bound to an ancient relic of absolute order, the Gilded Mystic is the sworn custodian of astral barriers. Clad in teal mystical robes, a sweeping crimson cloak, and an archaic golden visor that shields his eyes from planar madness, he projects rotating mandalas of hard-light sorcery. Dragged across dimensions during the tear, he now channels planar leylines to hold the breach from devouring reality entirely.

When the arcane rituals of the Book of Carnis tore reality apart during The Unbinding, the tear didn't just breach mortal dimensions—it gouged directly into the Blind Eternities.

Two master planeswalkers navigating the cosmic currents found their path violently sheared.

As planar leylines collapsed into raw entropy, the ancient mana of Zendikar and Ravnica collided with Earth’s dimensional breach right above the university campus. The resulting spatial vortex dragged an ancient sorcerer supreme and an apex mutant predator through the exact same spatial tear.

Dumped onto the ruined quad, surrounded by the shambling thralls of the Flayed Covenant, these four distinct forces realized instantly that survival demanded an alliance of spell, steel, tide, and mind.
